• Dinner Dance benefits Food Bank

    The Eastern New Mexico Collegiate FFA along with Coby Carter and the Five Miles West Band will be hosting a dinner and dance to benefit The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico.
     
    “We really wanted to do something to help the Food Bank out especially after the holidays. We recognize that hunger is a year-round need,” said band vocalist Coby Carter.
     
    Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Friday Jan. 27 at the Eastern New Mexico University Campus Union Ballroom.  A dinner catered by Sodexo will be served at 7 p.m. The event will feature live music throughout the night by Coby Carter and the Five Miles West Band.
     
    Costs are $40 per person or $275 per table of 8. Businesses and organizations are welcome to sponsor a table. Proceeds will go to the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico.

    In its 32nd year, the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico distributes over 1 million pounds of food in Roosevelt, Curry, Quay, De Baca, Guadalupe and Torrance counties in Eastern New Mexico.
